TO THE CITIZENS OF RUSSIA.
The Provisional Government has been overthrown. State power has passed into the hands of the organ of the Petrograd Soviet of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies, the Military Revolutionary Committee, the leadership of the Petrograd proletariat and garrison. The cause for which the people have been fighting: the immediate offer of a democratic peace, the abolition of the landlords' property rights over the land, the workers' control of production, the creation of a government of the Soviets- this cause has been secured.
LONG LIVE THE WORKERS', SOLDIERS' AND PEASANTS REVOLUTION!
